Community Foods Market

Managing complex collaboration efforts requires a delicate ear tuned to the needs of clients and community.

Together with Community Foods Market, SF Consulting Co. designed, launched, and project-managed the 2020 Senior Delivery initiative in partnership with local non-profit Fresh Life Foundation.

The project launched the inaugural remote grocery delivery service that accepts CalFresh/EBT in West Oakland. Featured in the SF Chronicle and other national publications, the initiative combed a grocery delivery service with an additional 50 percent discount for CalFresh recipients to support local seniors in safely receiving their groceries—all at half the cost.

Initially designed as a one-month pilot, the project has been made permanent as a response to community need during the COVID-19 crisis. Through 2022, Community Foods Market leveraged this design to create new jobs, respond to customer requests, and combat local food insecurity.

Berkeley Student Cooperative Alumni Association

In the age of COVID-19, we prioritize the safety of clients, customers, and community in curating memorable in-person and online events.

On behalf of the Berkeley Student Cooperative Alumni Association, principal consultant Selena Feliciano launched the virtual 2020 Ask-A-Cooper series in partnership with Sustainable Economies Law Center and the Network of Bay Area Worker Cooperatives (NoBAWC).

Ask-A-Cooper brought together a half-dozen cooperatives in a succession of online skill-shares that invited current students, BSCAA members, and the co-op community at large to learn from one another. The effort raised nearly $1,000 for participating worker-owned cooperatives, generated thousands of online impressions for the growing BSCAA community through Zoom and social media, and supported cooperatives in landing new engagement and customers in the spirit of innovative resilience.

Bay Area Carpool Program

We believe authentic community outreach stems from the ability to be attuned to community need.

The Bay Area Carpool Program was a direct project of 511, a collaborative project partnership of public agencies led by the Metropolitan Transportation Commission, the California Highway Patrol, and the California Department of Transportation. In 2019, SF Consulting Co. completed market research across the nine Bay Area counties and presented findings to key stakeholders within the collaborative partnership to support organizational understanding of regional trends in transportation choices, end-user engagement for carpooling mobile apps, and carpooling conversion rates.

Leading with equity, SF Consulting Co. helped design quarterly KPIs and environmental indicators data that looked beyond white-collar customer personas to include minimum wage and essential workers, largely low- to middle-income community-members of color living outside of high-density BART zones. Our work tracked and produced record-breaking cost-per-lead outreach results for the program, while also advising a public-private enterprise feedback group on multi-lingual and -access resources to expand outreach opportunities throughout target communities.

ENGIE Services U.S.

From designing tradeshow experiences to facilitating workshops, we've built scalable engagement opportunities that stem from unique strategy with team goals in mind.

As the lead for tradeshow engagement strategies for ENGIE Services U.S., principal consultant Selena Feliciano worked with a national team to design and launch new activities that invited target audiences to meet in-person with ENGIE team-members pushing forward a carbon-free future. A customer favorite, the 'Baseball Card' campaign leveraged fun caricatures and copy to support experiential engagement at tradeshows across the country.

In 2018, alone, Selena oversaw strategy for nearly 75 tradeshows that used diverse methods to engage over 31,000 contacts and land target impressions at 321% rate higher than initial team goals.
